Gibson's Monday Hockey Report

A little confusion from Saturday night in Toronto. Pittsburgh had a 3-0 lead, but trailed 4-3 and 5-4 in the third and the Penguins won in OT. So did Pittsburgh blow the lead? since they won I would have to say no. Did the Leafs blow the lead since they lead in the third period and lost in the extra session, but yet they trailed 3-0 and came back and picked up a point. You can't tell me that both teams blew a lead, while technically true, we did have a winner and both teams picked up points. Let's go to Judge Smails for a ruling, "oh, Billy, Billy, Billy" put the putter down Judge and give us a ruling. "Yes the Penguins did win the game, however, they had a 3-0 lead and allowed Toronto to come back and pick up a point when they shouldn't have, thus, the Penguins were guilty, I've sent younger boys to the gas chamber for less, not because they deserved it, but because I felt I owed it to them."
