Domi's debt ballooning

Former Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Tie Domi says his estranged wife is spending him into the poor house.

In court documents obtained by the Toronto Sun, Domi says his debt has ballooned to $1.8 million from $1.4 million -- or $70,000 in the red a month -- since he and his wife, Leanne, separated.

He alleges she has been seeking "revenge" by increasing her spending.

In the documents, Domi charges that his wife has damaged his reputation and hindered his ability to earn a living. None of the allegations have been proven in court.
