Leafs try and avoid speed trap

The Leafs will face the top team in the NHL standings tonight when they try and extend their season-high winning streak to six games.

And in tackling the Predators here, the Leafs will not only also face possibly the fastest team in the league, Nashville has some extra motivation.

“They’ll be angry,” Leafs coach Paul Maurice said, referring to Nashville’s mini slump of losses in three of their last four games.
