Alexei Ponikarovsky's life is about to enter cyberspace.

The Leafs winger is looking forward to the launch of his new website – www.poni23.com – on Friday.

"I'm going to try and tell my story there ... not too many Russian players have their own websites, so I'm going to give it a try," the popular Leafs winger said here yesterday.

While Ponikarovsky has been a Leaf for seven seasons now, he remains somewhat of a wall flower type personality in a city where star players are compared to rock and movie stars.
