Sundin's Late Goal Lifts Surging Maple Leafs Over Rangers, 2-1

Mats Sundin's breakaway goal snapped a third-period tie and lifted the surging Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night.

Sundin, who also assisted on Alexei Ponikarovsky's tying power-play goal in the second period, hit the 20-goal mark for the 16th straight season - every one spent in the NHL. That was enough to give the Leafs their fifth win in six games, including four on the road.
