Leafs use power play to beat Canadiens
Pavel Kubina is a favourite target of radio callers because of his US$5-million paycheque and inconsistent play.
Games like Saturday night will go a long way to silence his critics. Kubina had two goals and an assist and played a sound defensive game in leading the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 4-1 win over the rival Montreal Canadiens.
"There's always a lot of pressure," said Kubina. "And somehow you have to control that pressure. I don't mind that pressure. I think it's good for me and it pushes me."
