Sundin lifts Maple Leafs over Flyers

Peter Forsberg should feel fortunate that he was forced to sit this one out.

Scratched from the lineup during the pre-game skate because he had been traded to Nashville, Forsberg could only watch as the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 at the Wachovia Center on Thursday.

Carlo Colaiacovo, left, celebrates a goal with Mats Sundin on Thursday.

Toronto led 3-0 by the 14-minute mark in winning its fourth straight over Philadelphia and sixth in the last seven showdowns.
