Forsberg Says Goodbye As Flyers Fall To Maple Leafs

As the Philadelphia Flyers stood outside their locker room prior to the third period, Peter Forsberg -- in his business-casual garb-- shook hands with training staff, media members and security guards one last time.

The team watched its captain say his goodbyes. He made his way to the podium in a room where the Flyers held a press conference to announce they had traded Forsberg to the Nashville Predators.

As for Forsberg's teammates, they had a game to play Thursday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs, but the 4-2 loss felt inconsequential.
