Steen's boy scouts memories
Scouts for the Minnesota Wild and San Jose Sharks were sizing up Alex Steen yesterday and given near-exclusive access to the Maple Leaf forward for two days.
That's not too surprising, given Minnesota's scout was Alex's dad, former NHLer Thomas Steen, and the Sharks' scout was former Montreal Canadiens great John Ferguson Sr., the father of current Maple Leafs' general manager.
