Perhaps Leafs should take dads on every trip

The Toronto Maple Leafs' father-and-son excursion ended with a happy flight home last night, thanks to the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Flyers were shaken by the trade of their biggest star, Peter Forsberg, just before the game and presented little opposition for the Leafs until the third period of a 4-2 Toronto win.

The Leafs are now tied with the Montreal Canadiens at 64 points in the National Hockey League's Eastern Conference standings, but the Canadiens have the eighth and final playoff spot because they have one more win than the Maple Leafs' 28. And the New York Islanders are still tied with the Leafs in points, thanks to a win over the Boston Bruins last night.
