Mitchell, a 5-9 forward from the Oshawa Generals was picked today in the third round, 74th overall, but he was the first pick in the 2007 Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Their first two picks had been traded away on Friday to San Jose (and flipped to St. Louis) for goalie Vesa Toskala and forward Mark Bell."
