Things Looking Up For The Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs are on a mission to make the playoffs, and since the All-Star break their prospects have certainly improved.

The Maple Leafs headed into the break on a major down note, having lost at Pittsburgh, 8-2, on January 20. However, the team shook off that embarrassing setback and have rattled off four straight victories since the league returned to action last week.

Two of the wins in the current streak came against Montreal and Ottawa -- two of the three clubs that are ahead of Toronto in the Northeast Division and Eastern Conference standings.
