Leafs look to give fathers a good show

Most of the Maple Leafs jumped at the chance to invite their fathers along to Philadelphia for a road trip against the Flyers tonight. Not Paul Maurice.

"That's all they need, another coach," joked the Leafs head coach, who left his father, Denis, at home to help look after the grandchildren.

"To see the dads' faces, they're just so proud of their sons," Maurice continued. "I don't think there's a lot of guys in our room hugging their dads, so this is probably a nice way to say thanks without having to drop a tear."
