Leafs fall in shootout

A shootout loss to the New York Islanders wasn't the way Toronto Maple Leafs captain Mats Sundin wanted to celebrate his 36th birthday. But that's exactly what transpired on a snowy evening in Toronto last night.

Sundin was the only Leafs player to score in the shootout, while Islanders forwards Frans Nielsen and Viktor Kozlov were able to beat Toronto goaltender Andrew Raycroft to steal a road victory.
