Islanders good for what ails Leafs

A visit from the New York Islanders could be just the cure for the Toronto Maple Leafs' recent home woes.

The Leafs look to improve on their sickly record at the Air Canada Centre by continuing their home mastery of the Islanders Tuesday night (7:30 p.m. ET).

Matt Stajan, foreground, and the Maple Leafs are 6-0-1 in their last seven meetings with the Islanders.

With Saturday's wild 6-5 overtime defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Leafs have dropped four of their last five at the ACC for an 11-12-4 home record. Only the league-worst Philadelphia Flyers have fewer wins in their own barn with five.
