Blues, Leafs fight to guard playoff hopes

St. Louis Blues goaltender Manny Legace grew up in Toronto and realizes the importance of playing against one of the NHL's "Original Six" franchises.

"It's more of a family thing than a pride thing," said Legace, who posted a 2-0 shutout of Dallas in his last start and has four shutouts in his last 14 games. "My dad has 11 brothers and sisters and they're all split down the middle with Toronto and Canadiens fans. My dad always gets calls whenever I lose to the Leafs, so hopefully I can defend him tomorrow."

That's because his dad, like Legace, grew up rooting for the Montreal Canadiens.
