Stars align for Leafs' win

The inexplicable Toronto Maple Leafs are becoming more of a mystery as the NHL's regular season approaches the all-important stretch drive. For a change, however, circumstances are on the bright side for one of the league's most inconsistent teams.

Skating without three of their most significant players, the Leafs have suddenly won five of their past seven games, including a thorough 4-1 decision over the Carolina Hurricanes last night here at the RBC Center.
