TheStar.com - Sports - Leafs hang out `Help Wanted' sign: "Reportedly rebuffed in an effort to make Scott Bowman part of the team's front office, the Maple Leafs have not given up on augmenting their hockey operations.

There has been speculation the Leafs are looking at hiring John Muckler, recently fired as Ottawa's general manager, to act as a consultant to Toronto GM John Ferguson.

Richard Peddie, president of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd., would not comment on the club's interest in Muckler but did say bringing an experienced hockey man on board has not been ruled out."
