globeandmail.com: Help sought for Ferguson: "Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment president Richard Peddie confirmed yesterday that his organization is seeking to hire a senior adviser to work with Toronto Maple Leafs general manager John Ferguson.

The club first approached former Detroit Red Wings head coach Scott Bowman, who still works with Detroit as a consultant, about the position, but the Hall of Famer wasn't interested."
