Leafs let Bruins slip away

As the Leafs approach the trading deadline, it's not a player the team needs to acquire so much as an intangible: Killer instinct.

As coach Paul Maurice succinctly put it after last night's 3-0 loss to the Boston Bruins: "You can't get it on eBay."

Killer instinct is developed from within, from a need, or an urgency, to do away with an opponent.
